Four Counties Ambulance Services are able to provide a full range of medical services to cover your event. We provide a range of staff levels and vehicle types depending on your needs and can take full responsability for the planning of the medical services you require on site.
Rapid Response Vehicles are used to allow your on-site medic to be fully mobile around your event.
They can carry equipment as dictated by the skill level of the crew to provide primary care to the patient whilst awaiting the arrival of an ambulance if required.
Ambulance First Responders offer the basic level of our cover.
They are fully trained First Aiders with the advantage of also being trained in the use of resuscitation equipment, automatic defibrillation ,oxygen therapy, primary treatment of medical / trauma emergencies and spinal cord injuries.
Technicians are used to crew our emergency ambulances at your event.
They are trained with a variety of skills, some being, ambulance resuscitation techniques, full medical & trauma emergency care, pre-hospital fracture and wound care and can administer basic drugs and analgesia to help manage the patients conditon.
Our 4 wheel drive ambulances are idealy suited for motorsport, equestrian, festival sites or any other locations where terrain could be difficult to access in a road vehicle.
They are stocked with all required ambulance equipment and are designed to allow the transportation of a patient by stretcher in the rear.
Paramedics are used to crew our emergency ambulances or response vehicles at your event.
They are fully trained and registered with the Health Professions Council and are competent in all the skills you wold expect. Able to fully care for the patient at the scene of an incident, and often able to discharge patients at scene, sometimes removing the need for hospitalisiation.
Nurses are commonly used to staff Medical Centres at events.
They are able to take care of a a number of minor injuries that would otherwise need to be seen at the MIU or A&E department. They can assess and refer patients to further care if nessessery.
ECP's are able to do as above but also have an expanded drug prescription list and can also crew Emergency Vehicles
Our emergency ambulances are fully equiped to deal with all emergency situations. They offer a clinical enviroment for the treatment of minor injuries, transportation to a treatment facility or can be staffed as a temporary minor injuries unit.
